GPF acts as an advisor in mergers and acquisitions and as a broker in large
scale commercial property transactions; our primary mission is
to advise the shareholders of unlisted companies and to assist in the execution
of their corporate transactions.
GPF services are specifically tailored to the family businesses in
their search for organizing and financing their transmission-succession. Our
in-depth knowledge of the investors active in this field and their most popular
deal structures will help the owner of the business to select the most
appropriate type of transaction.
Potential investors are contacted when targets have been properly defined,
historic numbers justified, business prospects outlined and a business plan
structured. GPF drafts an information document where the prospective investors
will find all the information they need. GPF assists its clients at all stages
of the negotiation up to the completion of the deal.
It may happen that an investment be shared between several investors, each
pursuing a different objective; we entertain for instance preferential
relationship with institutions investing only in real estate that will refinance
the assets of the target business while acquirers may wish to invest only in the
operating structure.
GPF is proud to be a totally independent practice. We therefore have
no restrictions to our contact databases, and maintain constructive
relationships with most Private Equity investment firms on each side of the
English Channel.
